Neuropsychological Testing
The neuropsychological assessment process involves a clinical interview,
one-to-one in-person testing, and a feedback session. The testing session is approximately 3-5 hours in length, and evaluates overall cognitive/intellectual ability, including attention, executive functioning, visuospatial skills, new learning and memory, and motor abilities - gross motor speed and fine motor skills. The testing battery can also include a targeted assessment of adaptive functioning well as emotional, behavioral and personality assessment. Test results are then used to formulate a comprehensive picture of your functioning, including your cognitive strengths and weaknesses, in order to clarify psychiatric and neuropsychiatric diagnoses and tailor unique recommendations, guiding future treatment and care.
